Polyphonies d’Eysines in concert June 27, 2015
Founded in 1983 by the municipality of Eysines, Polyphonies d’Eysines are currently a group of about a hundred keen amateur singers. From 1983 to September 2011, the choir was directed by Rodolfo LAHOZ. In September 2011, his son Emmanuel LAHOZ took over from his father.
The choir’s repertoire is one of world music.

Every year, Polyphonies d’Eysines produce a new show, as required by a covenant signed with the municipality of Eysines. The choir specializes in major modern and popular works with a stage production. Their shows are a combination of songs, music, dance and stage paintings.
In recent years, productions have included the Canto General by Mikis Théodorakis, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, Zorba by Mikis Theodorakis, and the Cantate de Santa Maria de Iquique by Luis Advis
