Of dual French-Italian nationality, Jean-Pascal Introvigne studied the vocal art in France and in Saint Petersbourg. He began his solo career in 1996 and ever since has appeared at any number of festivals, operas and theatres, not only in France but also in London, Moscow, Heindoven and Seville.
Jean-Pascal Introvigne sang the part of Publio in La Clémence de Titus, Abimelech in Samson and Dalila, Monterone in Rigoletto, Shaunard in La Bohème, Gustave in Le Pays du Sourire, the Count in the Wedding of Figaro and Brander in the Damnation of Faust…
At the same time, Jean-Pascal Introvigne has a repertoire of oratorios and melodies that he likes to perform regularly: Fauré’s « La Bonne Chanson », the Requiems by Duruflé, Fauré or Mozart, Handel’s Alexander’s Feast, and Dvorak’s Stabat Mater…
